Open to opportunities from mid-March 2023. More info you can find here.
It seems you had an interesting job offer for me, and I directed you here. It's a fortunate coincidence, as I'm currently seeking new opportunities!
I appreciate your interest in me as a candidate. I value your time as much as I value my own, so let's make the most of it. I receive a great number of messages on LinkedIn, almost all of which are irrelevant. To avoid this, I had an idea. Before I explain it, let me introduce myself.
My name is Yuri and I’m a JavaScript/TypeScript Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in the field.
Previously I worked as a
Developer at LiveScore.com where I and my team were building a better version of the web using top-notch frontend technologies and tools.
Lead Software Engineer at Oak's Lab (I led teams of Software Engineers both in the Web and Mobile fields)
Kiwi.com — a place where I had a chance to work on the best aggregator and booking service for airline tickets.
All I expect you to do is to meet only a few criteria before you’re going to contact me and offer a new role:
Currently, I'm transitioning from developer to Engineer Manager/Tech Lead. I know how to lead projects, communicate with people, mentor juniors and not get crazy. Development as a leader is my primary goal for the next few years. My 2021-2023 motto: Soft skills > hard skills.
What about the client-side frameworks? I like React.js, it covers all my work needs.
Are you still making RESTful APIs? Oh my Goddess, no, please no. I prefer the GraphQL+ Node.js combo. If you still use REST and looking forward to modernizing your architecture and technology stack — no worries, I can help you with that as well!
I'm a passionate supporter of the Open Source philosophy, and I'm looking for a job and colleagues who share my enthusiasm. Let's collaborate on some Open Source projects!
My usual daily rate starts at 450 EUR (11k CZK).
optional but preferable The company is capable of operating entirely remotely. Working from different countries and time zones is increasingly common nowadays.
Checked every point above carefully and you are pretty sure that I’m the guy and you are that 1%? Please drop me an email at hi@mynameisyuri.com or book a quick call in my Calendar.
P.S. These are the technologies I use on a daily basis (mmm, buzzwords): JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Next.js, Styled-components, Tailwind, Apollo Client/Urql, GraphQL, GraphQL Code Generator, SQL/NoSQL databases, Prisma v2, AWS, Google Cloud.
Cheers,
Yuri Nezdemkovski
